We are now recruiting a Project Engineer to be based at the Peterborough plant facility. We offer a competitive salary from £35k up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Peterborough facility has two functional areas; an engineering facility that designs and builds mobile water treatment equipment, and a plant that regenerates ion exchange resin and works with cutting edge membrane technologies to provide mobile water treatment equipment for customers.
The Project Engineer will work for the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the following key roles:
- Lead project engineering of Mobile Assets, Water treatment systems for Build, Own and operate plants and Mobile fleets upgrades.
- Lead outsource engineering and work closely to get done detailed designs and drawings.
- Work on programmes in Solid works, Auto CAD drawing updates, reviews and creations.
- Work very closely with the design team to complete drafting the designs.
- Support new asset testing and QC in the plants and field.
- Material and Equipment selection and sizing’s for the designs.
- Support Control design and PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Develop Design and sizing documents creation, review and approvals.
- Manage the customer deliverable for Customer facing projects.
- Work in SAP business tool: Material Master, Inventory, drawing and BOM.
- Support Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Quality, MOC engineering actions and HAZOPs.
- Provide support for finding suppliers and parts; Technical review of the quotes.
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering supports and drawing management to shop floors in Peterborough, Wuxi, Norfolk, Minnetonka, Guelph and other build locations.
- Offer extended Support for Commercial Engineering team, Mobile PM team and Plant supports.
- Training/ Coaching Engineering interns, new starters and outsource engineering.
- Site visits and as built surveys.
Qualifications: B.Sc / M.Eng / M.Sc Engineering, Preferred in Mechanical / Chemical/ Industrial/ Electrical/ Environmental Engineering. Work Experiences; 2-3 years minimum work experience / Industrial Placement trainings in Water Industry, Preferred Specialist skills/knowledge- Advantages skills such as Electrical, PLC, SAP, Auto CAD and Solid works etc.
