What is the role?
As a Construction Operative you\’ll work under the Team Leader, and within a team, you will support the safe and timely delivery of all projects undertaken by Veolia Construction. Plant operation to include excavator, dumper and roller as required. Undertake construction, drainage and potable water duties as directed by the Team Leader.

What you\’ll be doing
- Undertake infrastructure works – predominantly drainage and water – on various sites (e.g. developer sites, secure military installations, on the highway within the public realm)
- Maintain a personal level of technical competence (including training certification) in order to deliver the works safely.
- Operate Excavator, dumper, roller, small tools and ElectroFusion & Butt Fusion equipment as required.
- Participate in out of hours standby to support repair and maintain existing potable water networks.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and follow the safe system of work when undertaking activities.
- Maintain a personal level of technical competence in order to deliver the works safely.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures

- CPCS / NPORS excavator above & below 10T
- CPCS / NPORS Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS Roller
- Full driving licence
- SHEA water
- Water hygiene
