What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of operatives, staff and site-based support to ensure site capability/capacity is maximised.
- Deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, customer service and team engagement.
- Ensure safety & well-being of all employees and those affected by our operations.
- Managing Waste Transfer Station where applicable.
- Managing operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements.
- Managing people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service & ensure the most efficient disposal and recycling solutions are utilised.
- Identify & drive efficiencies to maximise revenue & profit.
- Challenge existing practice and seek value for money alternatives to deliver long term sustainable economic benefits.
- Aim to meet waste reduction and recycling targets by ensuring processes and ways of working are followed.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve business performance and ecological transformation.
- Prepare and present accurate reports on waste generation, handling, and disposal activities to key stakeholders and management.
- Monitor and analyse waste data to identify trends, benchmarks, and areas for improvement.

- IOSH Managing Safely
- Managerial experience within waste or similar industry
