Salary: £38,000 plus annual bonus, Veolia benefits and Pension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:
- To be responsible for the day-to-day production operations, including scheduling, safety and management of employees.
- Organize resources (people, vehicles, equipment) to best effect prioritizing the wellbeing of our people and service to our customers and communities.
- Ensuring training and competency checks are in place for all roles.
- Monitor operational performance, follow up on complaints, problem solve for operational challenges.
- Directing and coordinating all operational aspects on site, particularly improvement projects and day-to-day operational activity.
- Managing the site in line with the Veolia Minimum Requirements toolkit standard, environmental permit requirements, relevant ISO standards, VMS and any other relevant standards.
- Manage site maintenance, including equipment and vehicles.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare required reports.
- Optimize efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and cost control.
- Personnel, planning and organizational skills.
- IT literate including MS Office.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- NEBOSH Certificate and/or Leadership qualification (CMI or ILM) - Advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
