What you\’ll be doing
- Manage the waste reception and ash residue hall areas, maintaining a safe environment
- Manage vehicle movements and operate mobile plant equipment to load vehicles and maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Operate plant refuge cranes
- Clean plant and equipment to maintain health, safety and operational standards
- Carry out plant inspections, take readings and train with the operations shift team
- Any other duties as instructed by the Operations Supervisor / Shift Team Leader
What we\’re looking for
- Problem solving and good teamwork
- Current counterbalance forklift truck, Telehandler and wheel loader driving qualification or equivalent desirable
- PC literate with good communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Driving licence is essential
- Experience of operating a mobile plant is desirable
