Grade: Competitive plus 10% bonus and Car/Car Allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver effective FM services on behalf of our Aerospace and Defence client - Including soft services (cleaning, waste and mailroom) and hard services (M&E, building fabric and minor works) to fully meet both contractual and statutory requirements.
  • Manage commercial and technical contract performance, including day-to-day client liaison and KPI delivery.
  • Lead and develop a site-based team of management, engineers, cleaners and operatives.
  • Responsibility for implementation and management of a permit to work system and compilation of producing a SSoW.
  • Ensure operational, planned, and reactive maintenance activities are effectively scheduled and undertaken on time and in accordance with Statutory Legislation, appropriate maintenance specification and agreed SLA response times.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Compilation and presentation of reports and recommendations.
  • Actively share with the client opportunities for improvements and new best practices.

What we're looking for:

  • A time served professional with a demonstrable work history within the building services sector.
  • HND or NVQ equivalent in an associated hard services trade (electrical / mechanical / HVAC).
  • Previous experience in a management role as the team lead with good HR experience across all aspects of people management.
  • Experience with budget control and expenditure with a proven track record of P&L management, effective cost management and margin achievement.
  • Able to compile local policies and procedures whilst demonstrating alignment with group and statutory best practice.
  • Has a culture of cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork across the operation and ensures a smooth and positive interface with relevant stakeholders.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification - desirable.
  • Must be eligible and able to attain Security Clearance for the position.
