What you'll be doing:

  • Manage daily site operations, including risk assessments, safety briefings and compliance with RAMS.
  • Check plant, equipment and fuel use; report defects and maintain stock levels.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture and report concerns appropriately.
  • Coordinate waste collections, segregation, storage, inspections and documentation.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, maintain training records and support audit and reporting requirements.
  • Act as the main site contact for waste queries, supporting stakeholders, service improvements and the Contract Manager.

What we're looking for:

  • IT literate, with the ability to use Google software confidently.
  • Experience of waste management and relevant legislation.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Knowledge of permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • FLT licence: B1 counterbalance, up to 5 tonnes.
