What you\’ll be doing: Work on a large range of industrial boilers, combustion equipment and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines. Planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair and some minor installation works. Training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicants must be willing to multi-skill as necessary. What we\’re looking for: You will have proven electrical fault finding skills and electrical qualifications – you must hold HNC electrical engineering or ONC electrical engineering qualification. A full drivers licence Combined Heat & Power experience would be beneficial, and a gas safe qualification would be advantageous, as would COSHH awareness and IOSH core.
