You’ll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of internal contacts including Invesco, Executive board members, Managing Director, Commercial Development Director, Heads of Operations, and Senior Leadership, as well as external contacts including customers, competitors, and suppliers across the national landscape. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead Our National Business Development strategy for the Commercial business in the UK. We’re seeking an exceptional leader to drive our national business development strategy, combining commercial excellence with environmental purpose. - Strategic Leadership – Inspire and empower a high-performing team of 28 professionals (7 direct reports, 21 indirect) across our national operations, creating a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Commercial Impact – Take ownership of £47m+ revenue portfolio, driving strategic volume growth (£25m+) and optimizing revenue management (£22m+) across key national partnerships.
- Purpose-Driven Success – Champion Veolia’s ‘Green Up’ strategy, positioning us as the partner of choice for organisations seeking to achieve their sustainability ambitions and ecological transformation goals.
- Develop Future Leaders – Coach and mentor senior Business Development Managers, unlocking their potential to consistently exceed ambitious targets.
