Salary: £26,204.88 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Overtime to cover the needs of the business plus Saturdays to cover a Bank Holiday

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, 07:00 till 15:00

Location: Shrewsbury, SY56HT

What you'll be doing:

  • With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
  • Collect designated domestic waste streams within the borough
  • Operating vehicles in line with all training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team and the public.
  • Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.
  • Ensuring at the end of your shift that the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left hygienic, clear of litter, uniform and personal effects.
