Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire your team to deliver first‑time collection culture and exceed contractual KPIs
- Manage resources (people, vehicles, equipment) to maximise efficiency and service quality
- Ensure compliance with Veolia Minimum Requirements and drive continuous improvement
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with senior clients, elected members and stakeholders
- Champion safety, inclusion, and employee engagement across all operations
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and commercial outcomes
- Drive innovation and implement service improvements for customers
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and developing operational teams, with waste management and commercial portfolio knowledge
- Strong client and multi‑stakeholder relationship management skills
- Fleet management experience, along with contract management expertise and experience working with trade unions
- IOSH qualification and senior operational management background
- Service change management capabilities
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification and Transport Manager CPC.
