Cash Allocations Clerk – 9 Month Contract
Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire – Hybrid working

What will you be doing?

• Posting daily BACS and Credit Card payments on accounting systems (Workday and Sage)
• Resolving queries
• Assisting external customer queries regarding unallocated cash while maintaining data protection
• Allocating transfers
• Ensuring cheques are processed promptly and accurately
• Processing indemnities and netting
• Requesting and processing refunds
• Keeping accounting spreadsheets up to date
• Calling Monthly DD run and posting once received

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a similar role
• Understanding of meeting company SLAs and targets
• Excellent numerical ability
• Polite and assertive verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google applications
