Veolia is hiring in Cannock, Staffordshire. Salary is £30,000 per annum (rising to £32,000 after probation) with Veolia benefits. Hours are 40 per week on a rotating pattern of days and nights, followed by 18 days of scheduled holiday. Location: Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 8JP / Remote Hybrid.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be first in line speaking to engineers and customers on the telephone, investigating faults on our combined heat and power generators
  • Monitoring live alarms for our industrial assets (full training provided)
  • Completing scheduled and (ad-hoc) reporting
  • Using Google, Access and other BI tools to assess asset performance
  • Supporting Veolia's crisis management process
  • Adhering to written procedures when carrying out tasks
  • Training is approximately the first six weeks.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous customer focus, call handling experience
  • Good IT skills including Excel / analysis
  • Problem solving experience
  • Analytical skills and mechanical engineering knowledge is an advantage
