Team Leadership & People Management - Act as line manager for the operational team, providing supervision, direction, and support; ensure employees and contractors are properly trained, inducted, and monitored to maintain required standards. Waste Processing & Plant Management - Control waste reception, acceptance, processing, and disposal operations; manage maintenance of mobile plant and processing equipment to optimize performance and meet budget requirements. Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Relations - Ensure compliance with all site authorizations and procedures; manage relationships with regulatory authorities (EA/HSE), local councils, and other stakeholders; facilitate regulatory visits and maintain accurate records. Operational Administration & Project Delivery - Complete daily site records and data analysis; manage contractors undertaking maintenance and works; deliver business-specific projects; provide customer service and ensure efficient facility operation within delegated authority levels. What we're looking for: Essential Landfill and/or waste Treatment processing experience in an Operational setting Knowledge and experience in H&S Knowledge of budget and cost control Understanding of Operational Plant Maintenance Desirable Technical Competence (degree or equivalent) What's next?
