Water Technologies is a world-renowned leader in water technologies, serving municipal market clients. We are looking for a dedicated and driven Service Engineer to join our team. This role offers structured progression and a chance to make a real impact on the business and the environment.
What will you be doing?
- On-Site Maintenance: Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments.
- Technical Support: Providing after-sales technical and commercial support to clients and gathering feedback to assist in future product development.
- Customer Focus: Building and maintaining strong client relationships and offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity.
- Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Hands-on problem solving to keep systems running smoothly.
- On-Call Flexibility: A flexible approach to customers’ needs and working hours, which may include weekends and public holidays. You may join an On-Call Rota as you grow in the role to provide client support when needed.
What do we need from you?
- Experience: Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the municipal market. Knowledge of sewage and drinking water treatment sites.
- Qualifications: NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or similar, or working towards one is ideal but not essential.
- Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication skills and experience engaging with clients, offering solutions, and handling challenging conversations.
- Time Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Professionalism: Punctual, presentable, and focused on customer satisfaction and delivering best-in-class service.
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
