We are looking for a dedicated Driver to manage UK-wide chemical deliveries, fleet and facility operations, and customer engagement. The role requires meticulous attention to safety, documentation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained.
  • Maintain the vehicle’s equipment to a high standard and fit for purpose.
  • Undertake UK-wide chemical deliveries, including occasional overnight stays and weekend work.
  • Collect and remove empty IBCs and kegs from customer sites.
  • Ensure all loads are secured correctly and checked against documents in line with regulations before transit.
  • Manage all transport-related documentation, including MSDS and transport documents.
  • Handle safe pump-overs of chemicals from IBCs to customer tanks.
  • Liaise with customers and site contacts to confirm correct delivery methods.
  • Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks, including routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a high level of driving competence at all times and adhere to relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work to precise method statements and risk assessments.
  • Take reasonable steps to ensure personal safety and the safety of others, comply with all current legislation and site rules, and report any accidents, incidents or near misses in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

Essential

  • English, Maths & IT GCSE or equivalent
  • A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence
  • Holder of a valid CPC driver qualification
  • Holder of a valid tachograph digital card

Desirable

  • Google Suite and general IT system knowledge
  • Holder of valid ADR qualification (training can be provided)
  • Dangerous Goods Handling experience
  • A valid FLT Training certificate
