What you\’ll be doing:
- Plan and manage all maintenance work across our new plastic recycling facility in Shrewsbury ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and procedural requirements.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance contractors and subcontractors including conducting due diligence audits and SLA reviews
- Create and maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules and asset registers while managing work order processes, including breakdown responses and KPI monitoring.
- Oversee engineering stores management, including stock control, safety-critical inventory and monthly reconciliation
- Direct and coordinate facilities estate maintenance operations, managing a maintenance team and liaising with internal/external customers
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, identifying cost reduction opportunities and providing financial summaries.
What we\’re looking for:
- Previous experience in facilities/maintenance management with proven track record of managing maintenance operations and contractors
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and processes, with IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred
- Experience using CMMS software and PPM systems, with knowledge of building management systems (BMS)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels up to Director level
