Hours: 4 on 2 off shift pattern, 07:45 - 17:30 (Winter) / 18:30 (select days in Summer)
Location: Merseyside - primarily based at Bidston Recycling Centre, CH41 1EB

What will you be doing?
- Provide support to the transport supervisor in the allocation of vehicles and drivers through planning and absence controls
- Control operations by strategically deploying vehicles to maximise efficiency across the contract
- Collaborate with colleagues, internal and external customers, and third parties to ensure outstanding customer service
- Provide hands-on IT support to your team; and drive continuous improvement by assessing driver performance and identifying learning opportunities
- Complete driving assessments
- Coordinate breakdown and recovery services
- Drive and operate rigid and when required articulated vehicles (subject to appropriate licence category) to transport waste and recycling materials
- Complete paper and digital records of work activity
What are we looking for?
- Similar operational supervisory experience
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Level 3 Team Leadership or equivalent experience
- HGV Class 2 Licence - (Class 1 Licence desirable)
- Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card
