What you’ll be doing:
The Head of People Development will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of all organisational behavioural training at Veolia. This role is responsible for leading a team of Learning & Development Managers and Specialists to design, build and deploy a diverse range of People Development programmes and talent initiatives, aligned to Veolia's business strategy and individual business unit requirements. The role will take a lead in upskilling and reskilling our people in support of a highly skilled workforce to meet our 4 year ambitious business strategy "Green up". The role will report to the People Development Director and will be crucial in supporting them to manage the assessment of organisational needs, including the design, implementation, service delivery and evaluation of all UK&I Learning and Development programmes.

- Strong background in designing and implementing large scale Learning & Development programmes
- Experience leading and managing high performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the Organisation
- Ability to work at pace and agility
- Significant experience in learning and development
- Strong knowledge of learning principles and instructional design
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities
- Experience with LMS, data and e-learning platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certifications (CIPD, ILM) or equivalent
- Experience in change management
- Knowledge of performance management systems
