What you’ll be doing

  • With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day. This is predominantly a loader role, but ad hoc driving duties will be required in a 3.5T van
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling of trade waste bins and containers
  • Moving and repositioning heavy commercial bins and euro containers
  • Servicing commercial premises, including shops, businesses and industrial sites
  • Completing daily vehicle checks (walkaround checks) and reporting defects
  • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company health & safety policies
  • Maintaining accurate records, including driver defect reports and tachograph compliance
  • Working across all weather conditions throughout the year

What are we looking for?

  • Similar operational manual handling experience
  • Full Driving licence - standard car licence B
