What will you be doing?

  • Operating all Mobile Plant including a loading shovel to load materials into containers
  • Undertaking routine checks and maintenance of the equipment
  • Cleaning the plant and machinery
  • Completing paperwork relating to daily checks, cleaning schedules, machine checks and production
  • Perform appropriate traffic marshalling duties to ensure safe entry and egress to/from the operational tipping areas of the site.
  • Assist in the periodic cleaning of the facility in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule, including jet washing the input hall to maintain site conditions.

What are we looking for?

  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Previous experience within a similar operational manual handling role
  • Full UK driving licence and a vehicle to travel to the sites
  • Yellow plant experience
  • Wheeled loading shovel preferred
  • This role involves physical duties and working outdoors in all weather conditions
