What will you be doing?
- Operating all Mobile Plant including a loading shovel to load materials into containers
- Undertaking routine checks and maintenance of the equipment
- Cleaning the plant and machinery
- Completing paperwork relating to daily checks, cleaning schedules, machine checks and production
- Perform appropriate traffic marshalling duties to ensure safe entry and egress to/from the operational tipping areas of the site.
- Assist in the periodic cleaning of the facility in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule, including jet washing the input hall to maintain site conditions.
What are we looking for?
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
- Previous experience within a similar operational manual handling role
- Full UK driving licence and a vehicle to travel to the sites
- Yellow plant experience
- Wheeled loading shovel preferred
- This role involves physical duties and working outdoors in all weather conditions
