Manage the service delivery on a daily basis, including the dynamic planning of work to vehicles / routes, proactively communicating with customers, maintaining contact with drivers throughout the day, and undertaking debriefs Ensure that Service excellence is delivered, this includes: Delivery of service Taking customer phone calls Recovery (next working day) and communication of non-service/missed lifts within company parameters. Assist the Service Manager to identify routing efficiencies and capacity. Effective container stock level control and customer and drivercommunication. Assist the Service Manager to ensure People management processes andprocedures are adhered to in line with company policies. Deliver Toolbox Talks to drivers and operatives Conduct first stage formal investigations into accidents and incidents as directed by the Service Manager Adhere to and comply with all aspects of Operator Licence obligations Manage the day to day activities of all drivers at the depot including compliance, performance and leave entitlements Work closely with the Service Manage to deliver depot KPI’s Ensure that all safety concerns and near misses are logged on Eco online and closed off within the company’s agreed timescales and quality feedback is provided to originators Updating waller planner Booking MOTs & ServicesWhat we're looking for;Essential:Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTDGood communication skills communicating with people of all levels including drivers, front line employees and customersAbility to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace Working with a quality management system e.g. ISO Managing transport compliance.
