Responsibilities
- Collecting recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in the Wem collection areas
- Driving and loading is involved for this position
- Daily vehicle defect checks
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including the security and weight of loads
- Accurately recording work completed using an onboard tablet device and reporting any collection issues that arise
- Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
- Assisting other collection crews when needed
Qualifications
- Cat C (Class 2) Licence
- Digi / Tachograph Card
- Driver CPC
