Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain the Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of equipment.
- Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs.
- Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations.
- Complete roadside repairs when necessary, with training provided.
- Work within Health & Safety regulations and take responsibility for your safety and that of those around you.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and time sheets are completed accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/HGV Technician, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Hold an HGV driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Supply your own comprehensive tool kit; diagnostic equipment and specialised tools are provided by Veolia.
- Initiative to help with general workshop work as required by the Workshop Management Team.
