Responsibilities
- Actively support the business on Safety, Quality & Assurance matters by conducting regular site visits, assure the right standards are in place, undertake regular audits, including engagement visits and monitor progress against the site improvement plans.
- You will support an operational team covering wastewater and clean water/utilities activities, boiler houses and energy centres, total waste manage.
- Engage with teams and identify further improvements and provide solutions.
- To work closely with the Treatment Risk & Assurance Manager to support operations and, where appropriate, support and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators and customers.
- To liaise with clients and provide advice on industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Safety Advisor Role, ideally in waste management.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- A background in at least one of the industrial areas mentioned above (Waste, Energy, Water, or Utilities).
- Auditing experience.
- The ability to influence key stakeholders on site.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
