Responsibilities

  • Move and load waste
  • Report contamination and non-compliant waste batteries
  • Report all service, safety and environmental concerns
  • Work as a team
  • Stay in contact with the team on 2 way radio
  • Look out for each other and our customers
  • Check all vehicles before using them, report defects
  • Stop the job if it's unsafe, report to line manager
  • Stay alert for fires, report smoke, smouldering and flames, We're also committed to ensuring that all applicants and colleagues receive fair treatment without discrimination on any grounds, aiming to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive
  • Experienced working in an operational environment

Desirable

  • 360 & grab license
  • Previous experience in a waste management environment
