Quality Inspector - near Camberley, Surrey We are looking for a detail-focused Quality Inspector to join our client’s Quality Team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, inspecting electrical sub-assemblies, PCBs, cables and finished products to ensure they meet the required drawings, specifications, workmanship standards and quality requirements.
The Quality Inspector will
Inspect incoming, subcontracted and in-house manufactured components, sub-assemblies and finished products against drawings, parts lists and specifications.
Carry out patrol inspections across assembly and test production areas, helping to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Check that the correct paperwork and certification accompany materials and components being inspected.
Record inspection results, maintaining accurate information in the system, and escalating quality concerns promptly.
Support product sign-off for despatch, ensuring relevant teams understand key quality requirements and procedures.
About you You will be organised, quality-focused and confident working with detailed information.
You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to understand and interpret technical drawings, parts lists and supporting documentation.
Experience of stock control or MRP systems would be ideal.
Knowledge of PCB assemblies, surface mount and through-hole technology, process control techniques and ESD requirements would also be beneficial.
