A brand-new opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join an innovative, expanding business based in Farnborough, Hampshire.
In this role you will assist in the manufacture of parts, ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met or improved.
You will need to be familiar working with materials such as steels, aluminium, and plastics.
Job functions include: Setting, Operating and Programming CNC lathes Producing high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings Ensuring that all specifications, quality expectations and inspection requirements are understood prior to commencing jobs Self-inspecting work using precision measurement tools including verniers, calipers, gauges, micrometers Providing input to the design process to improve DFM of components Utilising tooling effectively, ensuring that any needs are communicated promptly.
