Account Manager
Hybrid role near Farnham
Salary £44-46K, plus bonus
Availability to start on short notice needed
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-led environment and knows how to keep multiple projects, stakeholders and commercial priorities moving in the right direction.
In this role you’ll take ownership of client projects/programmes, building strong relationships while ensuring work is planned, coordinated and delivered to a consistently high standard.
You’ll need previous experience within a consultancy, agency or similar service led environment, where managing deadlines, changing priorities and client expectations is part of every day.
The Account Manager will be:
- Managing client accounts and overseeing multiple projects from planning through to successful delivery.
- Building strong client relationships and communicating proactively with key stakeholders.
- Developing project and account plans, coordinating resources and keeping priorities and deadlines on track.
- Managing client meetings, briefings, communications and follow-up actions.
- Supporting proposals and identifying opportunities to develop existing client accounts.
- Managing the commercial detail behind projects, including contracts, Statements of Work, purchase orders, forecasts and invoicing.
- Maintaining accurate client information and supporting wider business development and marketing activity.
We’re looking for:
- A proactive, energetic candidate with previous project/client delivery experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple client projects and competing priorities.
- A commercial mindset, with experience of proposals, pricing or working in a chargeable services environment.
- Excellent writing skills for creating content and developing instructional communications for clients and team members.
- First-class organisation, attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Confidence working with project planning and collaboration tools.
