The Role You'll become the heartbeat of the supply chain, ensuring stock arrives when it should, identifying potential shortages before they happen and keeping the purchasing process running like clockwork.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Supply Chain Planner, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day buying cycle, giving colleagues confidence that everything is under control.
What you'll be doing: Managing the purchasing cycle from order through to delivery Raising purchase orders and maintaining the ERP system Monitoring stock levels and keeping key product lines on track Identifying potential supply issues before they impact customers Liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries remain on schedule Resolving supply issues quickly and escalating where appropriate Supporting colleagues across the team during busy periods Building strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments You'll already have experience within purchasing, buying, supply chain or stock control and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
You'll also have: Experience using an ERP or stock management system Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical ability The confidence to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Great communication skills and the ability to build positive supplier relationships A proactive mindset with the confidence to spot issues and solve them before they become problems This isan opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive and growing business where your ideas are welcomed, your contribution genuinely matters and you'll have the chance to develop your career within supply chain planning.
