We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist and therapist (ideally) to join our dynamic dental team on Fridays and potentially Wednesdays too. The candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our friendly practice with the loveliest patients you will meet.
Our surgery is located in a stunning historical building, overlooking the river Dart in Totnes, Devon. In our waiting area, we display a lot of our patient's artwork so the atmosphere is very homely. A shiatsu massage chair is available for all to use during free time. We also provide lunches made with organic produce, locally grown.
The candidate needs to be a hard worker, team player, honest, loyal and most importantly communicative. We like to discuss cases, share observations and improve to give our patients a very good experience and the best possible care. This is a self-employed role. Experience in maintaining implants patients and providing dental therapy is highly desired. However, we will also support you if these are novel skills you wish to add to your professional range of skills.

Hours of work:
- Wednesday 11:00 - 1:00 (Lunch)
- Friday 9:00 - 1:00 (Lunch)
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist/Therapist licence or equivalent certification.
- GDC Membership and all relevant indemnities.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
- Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Right to work in the UK (we do not have a sponsorship program).
