We are looking for an entrepreneurial, ambitious and commercially savvy Partnerships Manager to join VenueScanner in our first-ever global partnerships role. Your mission is to source, create, negotiate and roll out high-impact partnerships that grow demand for the VenueScanner marketplace and brand.
The core goal of this role is to increase the number of business customers using VenueScanner to source venues for their events. You will focus primarily on demand-side partnerships that drive event creation, enquiries and bookings while also supporting strategic supply and product partnerships where they unlock meaningful growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building partnerships from scratch, getting them live, and making sure they generate revenue growth.
What You’ll Work On
- Demand & Distribution Partnerships: You’ll identify, build and scale partnerships that bring high-intent organisers into VenueScanner, including:
- White-label or embedded partnerships with travel, booking and planning platforms (e.g. when someone books a business trip, do they also need a meeting or private dining space?)
- Event creation and ticketing platforms
- Corporate perks, memberships, concierge and workplace platforms
- Communities, media and content-led distribution partners
- Strategic API or embedded distribution partners
Strategic & Supply Partnerships (Secondary): Alongside demand growth, you’ll support selected supply-side or product partnerships (e.g. co-selling, integrations, or joint marketing) where they materially support growth.
Partnership Delivery & Execution: This role is not just about signing deals; it’s about making partnerships work. You’ll:
- Own partnerships end-to-end: outreach, agreement, launch optimisation
- Loop the CEO in strategic conversations, then take full ownership of delivery
- Turn conversations into clear action plans, timelines and outputs
- Ensure partnerships are launched, adopted internally, and actively performing
- Keep partners engaged through consistent communication and forward planning
- Identify and unblock issues quickly so partnerships don’t stall
Partner Launches & Co-Marketing: You’ll work closely with marketing and product to:
- Lead partner onboarding and activation
- Set up tracking, attribution and reporting
- Create internal playbooks so teams know how to leverage each partnership
- Plan and project-manage partner marketing activity, including:
- Co-branded landing pages
- Email and social campaigns
- Partner enablement toolkit
- Light-touch content collaborations
Performance, Reporting & Optimisation: You’ll be accountable for results and continuous improvement:
- Track performance across traffic, enquiries, bookings and revenue attribution
- Share regular updates internally on what’s live, launching next and where support is needed
- Optimise partnerships over time by improving conversion pathways, incentives, messaging and mechanics
- Build repeatable partnership playbooks based on learnings
Who This Role Is For: This is an ideal role for someone who:
- Loves building relationships and connecting with people
- Is commercially minded and execution-obsessed
- Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment
- Is confident holding conversations with senior stakeholders
- Enjoys building things from zero and making them work in practice
- Wants ownership, visibility and room to grow a partnerships function
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience in partnerships, sales, account management or commercial roles
- Proven experience taking partner initiatives from agreement to launch to performance
- Strong understanding of demand generation through channel partnerships
- Experience in a marketplace, SaaS, travel, hospitality, events or consumer-tech business is a strong plus
- Highly organised with strong project management skills
- Data-led and comfortable working with performance metrics and dashboards
- Familiar with tools like HubSpot (or similar CRM), Notion/Asana, and analytics tools
- Uses AI tools to increase personal efficiency in outreach/management and research
