Venue Options is a highly successful corporate booking agent, specialising in accommodation, meetings, conference, events and rail reservations. Further growth see's us once again looking to expand our team.
In thisrole from our site on the outskirts of Sheffield (close to Junction 33 of the M1), you would join a team of 20 other agents and be responsible for sourcing, managing and administering accommodation stays on behalf of our clients, whether it is an overnight stay, a long-term project or a group number of bedrooms; it is all about research and relationship building to get the best possible prices, deals and solutions.
The Role
Research and recommend appropriate hotels and locations
Proactively source, compare and negotiate prices for maximum cost savings
Build strong relationships with your allocated clients
Provide administrative support, pre and post stay
Support accounting function for accommodation bookings
Ideally you will possess:
Hotel, venue or other industry related experience (not essential as training will be given)
Strong administration background
Knowledge of online booking providers inc. GDS (not essential as training will be given)
Proven customer service experience
Excellent telephone manner
Quick to learn/adapt attitude
To succeed in this role, youll need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and possess a desire and ability to work to targets and deadlines. Dont worry if you dont have industry experience as we offer full on the job training.
