We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a professional services firm near Liverpool Street on a contract basis.

About the Role
You'll be an extra pair of hands for an established internal IT team, keeping day-to-day support running smoothly and helping with an upcoming office consolidation. It's a small office environment where you'll be working alongside director-level stakeholders, so clear and professional communication is just as important as your technical skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- 2nd line hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, AV, and office infrastructure
- Onboarding and offboarding — device provisioning, account setup, and access rights
- Meeting room tech support (video conferencing, AV, collaboration tools)
- Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint day-to-day support
- Logging and resolving incidents via ITSM within SLA
- Supporting an upcoming office move consolidating multiple London locations
- Remote support to colleagues across other divisions
- Maintaining documentation, configurations, and knowledge base articles
Must-Have Skills
- Windows 10/11 and macOS
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID (users, groups, MFA, permissions)
- Networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi
- End-user device management (laptops, desktops, mobiles, printers, AV)
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders in a professional environment
