We're recruiting on behalf of a large international retailer in the middle of a major data modernisation programme — replatforming onto a modern Azure-based integration stack while retiring a legacy Mulesoft estate. It's a fast-paced, high-expectation programme with broad scope across multiple international markets, and they need someone who can hit the ground running.

You'll be hands-on building and operating integrations across APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus and Event Grid, connecting enterprise SaaS platforms including Workday, Oracle Symphony and NetSuite into their data, finance and operational systems. Alongside new build work, you'll help stabilise and migrate the legacy Mulesoft estate onto Azure.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and building Azure integrations — APIM APIs, Logic Apps workflows, Function Apps (C# or Node.js), Service Bus and Event Grid.
  • Monitoring production integrations via Application Insights and Log Analytics; investigating and resolving failures.
  • Supporting the Mulesoft to Azure migration — keeping legacy flows stable through wind-down.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, peer code reviews, Agile ceremonies and UAT cycles.
  • Documenting integrations clearly for both technical and business audiences.

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years' commercial experience as an Integrations Engineer.
  • Recent hands-on production experience (within the last 12 months) with at least three of: APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid.
  • Comfortable writing Function Apps in C# or Node.js, with strong API skills — REST, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0.
  • Familiarity with Key Vault, Managed Identity, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and Agile delivery.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Tech stack: Azure APIM · Logic Apps · Function Apps (C# / Node.js) · Service Bus · Event Grid · Key Vault · Application Insights · Azure DevOps · GitHub Actions · Mulesoft Anypoint (legacy).
