The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant / Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a global Microsoft 365 consolidation programme. This engagement will support the migration of multiple business entities onto a single Microsoft 365 tenant, establishing a Multi-Geo architecture whilst ensuring security, governance and operational best practice. The successful consultant will work closely with technical and business stakeholders across the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on delivery throughout the programme.

- UK business operating on an established Microsoft 365 tenant (approx. 10 years)
- US business operating on a newer Microsoft 365 tenant
- Australia & New Zealand operating on Google Workspace
- Microsoft Entra ID used as the central identity provider
- Automated Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes already established
- Global organisation looking to standardise onto a single Microsoft 365 platform
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops and define the Microsoft 365 consolidation strategy
- Design and implement a Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo architecture
- Plan and execute tenant-to-tenant migration activities
- Lead Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration planning
- Design identity, authentication and governance using Microsoft Entra ID
- Provide guidance around licensing, security, compliance and data residency
- Produce technical documentation, migration plans and implementation roadmaps
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
- Work with stakeholders across multiple international regions
- Support knowledge transfer and transition into BAU operations
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation projects
- Hands-on Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo implementation experience
- Tenant-to-tenant migration expertise
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD architecture and identity management
- Exchange Online migration experience
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive migration experience
- Microsoft Teams migration experience
- Experience migrating organisations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance and compliance
- Experience producing technical architecture and migration documentation
