About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team for our client in the financial space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering high-quality technical support across both local and global teams. You will play a key role in supporting our client's London office while also contributing to wider group IT operations, ensuring consistent and efficient service delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Local Office Support
  • Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and office infrastructure
  • Support meeting room technology, including video conferencing and AV systems
  • Act as the first escalation point for local hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding (device setup, accounts, access)
  • Maintain office IT equipment, including printers, Wi-Fi, and telephony
  • Group / Cross-Divisional Support
    • Deliver remote support across regions using service desk and remote tools
    • Contribute to IT projects such as upgrades, rollouts, and security initiatives
    • Support Microsoft 365 platforms and assist with standardising IT processes
    • Assist with patching, endpoint security, and compliance activities
