As a Data and Analytics Engineer, you will support the delivery and ongoing development of the organisation’s data and analytics capability. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and structured analytical datasets that support business reporting, insights, and decision‑making. The role sits within the Technology function and works closely with analytics, operations, finance, and wider business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple business systems
- Develop and manage analytical data models and warehouse structures
- Transform and curate data using Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms to ensure accuracy and performance
- Support the delivery of datasets and semantic models for BI reporting
- Build and maintain integrations with internal and third‑party systems
- Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident handling
- Create high‑quality documentation and reusable engineering standards
