Hybrid – Aldgate, London (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
We're looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join us on a 4-month contract, supporting BAU activities across a multi-region Microsoft Azure hybrid environment with legacy AD on-premises. This is a hands-on role working within a globally distributed IT team for a SOC-compliant organisation — ideal for a contractor who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Resolving infrastructure and cloud tickets, including escalations from internal deskside, EUC and global service desk teams, as well as the third-party SOC team
- Supporting platform stability, availability and performance
- Contributing to well-scoped project activities with the support of internal teams
- Delivering technical change under the direction of the internal engineering team
- Providing major incident support where your experience is applicable
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in cloud/infrastructure roles, with a minimum of 2 years hands-on Azure experience
- Azure Conditional Access, Azure Policy & Defender for Cloud
- Windows Server (cloud and on-premises)
- ServiceNow ticket management
You’ll Also Be Expected To Bring
- Experience with hybrid identity models including Entra IdP and legacy Active Directory
- The ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with ITIL methodology
