Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Recruitment Specialist with a focus on Early Careers candidate interviewing and will play an integral part within the Experience and Assessments Hub. The role is critical to running and maintaining the high standards of the Early Talent assessment process of graduate, intern and apprenticeship candidates. The Recruitment Specialist will be an Interviewing SME and will conduct a high volume of interviews ensuring quality, consistency and fairness is maintained in line with the Early Talent Assessment model, while ensuring a top class and seamless candidate experience. The role requires a strong understanding of recruitment processes and the Early Talent market within the UK.
What you will do:
- High volume of in-person final interviews in the London office during the busiest recruitment period.
- Support interviewing managers providing advice and guidance.
- Welcome candidates into the London office, supporting the Interview Coordinator when needed.
- Act as a support to candidates helping them prepare for each stage of their recruitment journey through hosting Q+A sessions, phone calls and other communication channels.
- Conduct second stage virtual interviews using the recruitment platform, scoring and creating feedback.
- Communicate outcomes to candidates and provide verbal feedback when requested.
- Help manage a busy candidate inbox, respond to candidate queries, ensure any interview adjustments requested are in place.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System to ensure candidates are screened and progressed through the pipeline in a timely manner to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Act as the custodian of the candidate assessment journey, orchestrating touchpoints that leave a lasting positive impression.
- Ensure fairness and consistency for all candidates, whilst being aware of UK diversity targets and local demand.
- Keep up to date with business updates, as well as external changes which may impact recruitment e.g. visas, recruitment restrictions.
- Manage digital chat platform, connect with candidates to enhance their experience and prepare them for their recruitment journey to ensure good conversion rates.
- Support with candidate calls on an adhoc basis e.g. start date calls and candidate updates.
- Continuously enhance and develop all candidate communication.
- Use candidate ATS and digital platform data to produce insightful reports to support decision making in processes.
- Support all team members with adhoc work as and when required.
- Identify and escalate issues to leads and/or other teams when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Volume interviewing experience essential – Occupational Psychology background helpful.
- Experience of working in a professional services environment and an understanding of the graduate recruitment market essential.
- Understanding of ethical interview practices and Equality Act.
- Applicant Tracking System experience (Workday an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills able to confidently communicate with a broad audience from apprentices to Senior Leadership.
- Ability to pick up new information and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work with changing demands.
- Relationship management skills.
