We're launching our second Ventureship. Founded by Durham University graduates, Ventureship was created to tackle the experience gap students know too well, where you need experience to get experience. Having gone through endless CV submissions, psychometric tests, and assessment centres ourselves, we've seen how easily talented students are filtered out by AI automated screening systems. Ventureship exists to change that. We create remote, flexible, project-based opportunities where students demonstrate their skills through real work with real organisations, alongside their degree, all year round.

Our second Ventureship is in collaboration with a multinational company in the fragrance, flavour, and ingredients industry - shaping products used by millions worldwide. We're recruiting students across three project streams, with 5-8 students per project, focused on:

  • SEO & Market Research
  • Sustainability Platform Development
  • Sustainability Engagement & Strategy

Each project suits different strengths. Whether it is in research and analysis, strategy, marketing, or sustainability-focused initiatives but all offer real responsibility and tangible outcomes.

Please note that this opportunity is open to recent graduates and university students studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree. If you're curious and want to build experience by doing the work itself, this could be your first Ventureship.

Alongside the project itself, we are also introducing our exclusive 'Ventureship Career Accelerator Programme', where we will be supporting students in translating their work into real outcomes by refining how they present the experience on their CV and LinkedIn, building a curated portfolio of their work, and developing interview and presentation skills in a 1 to 1 setting. This ensures that by the end of the programme, you're not just gaining experience, but are able to clearly demonstrate it in applications and interviews.

Applications are now open and reviewed on a rolling basis, with a hard deadline of 27th of April at 11:59pm (UK time). Please note we may close applications early if spaces are filled. If you're interested, we strongly recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid missing this opportunity. Please apply by sending your CV to . We will only consider applicants who send their CV to the email address as stated. Good luck applying and we will get back to each and every applicant as soon as possible!
