The Opportunity

We are looking for outstanding, professional Security Officers to join our teams covering sites at Whiteley, Chichester, Fareham and Southampton. A driving licence and access to transport are desirable. This is a great opportunity to enjoy flexible work, competitive pay and be part of an award‑winning, people‑focused team.

Duties

  • Whilst delivering a high standard of customer service, you will provide a professional and reassuring security presence.
  • You will be required to maintain a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff through observation, and the monitoring of the client’s premises.
  • You will protect the client’s premises from criminal activity and respond to any emergency situations that may arise.
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a warm and professional welcome.
  • Guide event attendees through entry points, assisting with searches and wayfinding.
  • Patrol designated areas and monitor crowd movements to ensure safety and order.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to any issues or incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain a visible and reassuring presence to deter unauthorised access and protect staff, visitors, and assets.
  • Monitor access points, support emergency procedures, and handle incidents with professionalism.
  • Providing a physical security presence.
  • Covering front of house reception duties.
  • Locking/unlocking the site.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the site and its property by maintaining a visible presence.

Candidate Requirements

Security officers at this site must be fit, healthy, smartly presented with the very best customer service skills. You must have a good level of computer literacy, a good telephone manner and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

Security officers at this site must have a valid SIA licence, either Security Guarding (SG), Door Supervision (DS) or Close Protection (CP).
