We are looking for a professional SIA Security Officer to join our Stonehenge security team. Working as part of a team, this role is all about the protection of a world heritage site and the people who maintain it.
Duties:
- Supervise day‑to‑day operations to ensure work is carried out effectively, safely and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide a physical security presence.
- Patrol throughout the site.
- Meet and greet visitors.
- Control entry to the site and challenge trespassers.
- Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring procedures are followed and risks are reported and managed.
- Record incidents.
- Monitor CCTV.
Candidate Requirements:
- Security officers must be fit, healthy and enjoy the outdoors; the role includes extensive walking in all weathers (cold and wet weather clothing system provided).
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle due to the remote location.
- Must have a valid SIA licence (Security Guarding (SG), Door Supervision (DS) or Close Protection (CP)).
