Java Developer – Prop trading/Crypto firm – London

The role is junior level for someone with 2-3 years commercial experience.

A couple of Java Developers are required for an exciting proprietary trading firm aiming to become part of one of the world’s leading Institutional Market-Makers across Cryptocurrency Exchanges. You will be joining a new crypto trading team where you will be predominantly integrating new crypto exchange APIs.

The role would suit candidates with minimum 2 years experience and significant part of childhood spent hacking away in 8-bit assembly language.

As Java Developer you will need:

  • 2-3 years experience in Java development in a startup/small company commercial environment.
  • 1st class STEM subject degree from a top university or a 2:1 from Oxbridge.
  • Familiar with event driven design patterns and micro service architecture.
  • You’ve worked on large scale, distributed systems that operate with large volumes of data.
  • An advocate of engineering best practice, you are focused on quality, deployment and in-life support as well as the core engineering.
