We're pleased to offer an exciting internal opportunity for a Participation Coordinator (0.5 FTE) to coordinate and develop Venture Voices, our participation and involvement programme for people with lived experience of Venture Trust programmes.
This role plays a key part in strengthening how lived experience informs and shapes our work. Working directly with participants and colleagues across Venture Trust, you'll support people to build confidence, develop skills, contribute meaningfully to the organisation and progress towards their individual goals, while creating opportunities for them to use their lived experience to influence and contribute to our work.
As a Participation Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate and deliver the Venture Voices participation programme.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with participants through flexible, person-centred engagement.
- Support participants to identify their strengths, interests, aspirations and development needs.
- Create and coordinate meaningful opportunities for participant involvement across Venture Trust.
- Prepare and support participants to engage in volunteering, training, peer support, recruitment, consultation and public engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify and develop participation opportunities.
- Ensure participation activities are safe, inclusive, meaningful and well organised.
- Support participants to build confidence, develop skills and progress towards their personal goals.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Venture Voices.
