We are looking for a professional SIA Security Officer to join our Stonehenge security team. Working as part of a team, this role is all about the protection of a world heritage site and the people who maintain it.
Duties:
- Supervise day to day operations to ensure work is carried out effectively, safely and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Providing a physical security presence.
- Patrolling throughout the site.
- Meeting and greeting visitors.
- Controlling entry to the site and challenging trespassers.
- Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring procedures are followed and risks are reported and managed.
- Supporting English Heritage employees.
- Recording of incidents.
- Monitoring CCTV.
Security officers at this site must be fit, healthy and must enjoy the outdoors as the role will include lots of walking in all weathers (excellent cold and wet weather clothing system provided). You must hold a valid drivers licence and have access to a vehicle to be considered for this role due to remote location.
