Duties:
- Protect the Roman Baths, including during special functions held on site.
- Ensure the safety and security of council staff, visitors, and colleagues.
- Work as part of a team that includes other security officers, door supervisors, close protection officers, and council staff.
- Provide a physical security presence.
- Meet and greet visitors.
- Control entry to the site.
- Patrol throughout the site.
- Manage conflict should it arise.
- Record incidents, security, and safety concerns.
- Maintain excellent communications, both written and verbal.
You must have a valid SIA licence, ideally Door Supervision (DS) due to there being licensed evening functions. Close Protection (CP) licenses are also eligible for this role and further training will be provided.
We’re looking for a Door Supervisor who is friendly and welcoming, with a calm disposition. Ideally, you will enjoy working with the public and be confident in de-escalating any situations that may arise. You will be working closely with staff employed directly by the Roman Baths, so must thrive on working as part of a team and be able to take direction, whilst always maintaining your duties diligently and acting with integrity. You will be smartly presented and report to work clean, tidy, and on time.
