VP/Director – Project Management – Placement Agent

Venture Search is partnered with a leading Investment Bank looking to add a Project Management VP/Director to their Private Funds Group in London. The firm has established partnerships with renowned private markets GPs globally and, in light of its expansion, are currently seeking someone to support the origination, management and closing of their fundraising processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors in the US.
  • Provide comprehensive coverage to clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Advise clients on market propositions and strategies, staying abreast of industry trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client offerings and provide value-added services.
  • Work closely with GPs to understand and advise on their market proposition.
  • Foster strong relationships with GPs to facilitate effective collaboration and mutual success.
  • Oversee fundraising processes to institutional investors, including origination and closing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience at either a placement agent or in-house IR position is essential. Candidates who do not have this experience will not be considered.
  • Proven track record in building and managing client relationships in the private funds space.
  • Degree educated, preferably with a focus on finance, business, or a related field.
