Our client is a global placement agent, advising private credit, infrastructure and real estate fund managers on capital raising from institutional investors. They deliver results across primary fundraising, secondary transactions, and direct placements. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Associate/VP to join their London office.
Role Overview: You will play a key role in executing capital raising mandates, supporting the origination process, and managing investor relationships. You will work closely with senior professionals and clients across the full fundraising cycle, contributing to strategic positioning, marketing material development, and investor engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of fundraising mandates across various private markets strategies
- Conduct due diligence on fund managers and help prepare offering materials (pitch decks, PPMs, DDQs, etc.)
- Manage and track investor outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management
- Prepare market analyses, investor mapping, and benchmarking reports
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams throughout the fundraising process
- Represent the firm and our clients in meetings with institutional investors
- Mentor and support junior team members
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in transaction services, investor relations or from a placement agent.
- Strong understanding of the private capital landscape and institutional fundraising dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFA a plus.
