Our client is a leading independent placement agent with over 25 years of experience in raising capital for both equity and debt transactions. As part of their continued growth, they are adding to their Project Management team in London, and are open to hiring a Senior Associate, VP or Director.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of capital raising transactions, from origination through to execution.
- Develop relationships with potential clients and investors.
- Provide strategic advice and financial analysis to clients in equity and debt fundraising processes.
- Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and support the preparation of transaction documentation.
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to provide informed advice to clients.
Key Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, or from a Big 4 company. Experience at a Placement Agent is preferable but not essential.
- Experience working in Alternatives, preferably PE.
- Strong understanding of financial structuring, modeling, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
